TERMS OF SERVICE – SLIDE & FOLD ALUMINIUM LIMITED

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern the supply of products and services by SLIDE & FOLD ALUMINIUM LIMITED (“we”, “us”, “our”). By placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Definitions

  • Customer: The person or business placing an order with us
  • Products: Goods manufactured or supplied by us
  • Order: A confirmed request for Products accepted by us

 

3. Orders and Acceptance

  • All orders must be placed via our website, in writing, or through approved order forms
  • Orders are subject to acceptance by us
  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order prior to acceptance
  • Products are manufactured to order; once manufacture has commenced, the Order becomes binding

 

4. Pricing and Payment

  • All prices are quoted in GBP and exclude VAT unless stated otherwise
  • Delivery charges are additional unless expressly stated
  • Prices are provided in good faith; we reserve the right to correct errors prior to Order acceptance
  • Full payment is required at the time of placing an Order
  • We accept most major debit and credit cards (excluding American Express)

 

5. Product Specifications and Measurements

  • Products are manufactured strictly in accordance with the specifications supplied by the Customer
  • The Customer is responsible for ensuring all measurements and details are accurate
  • We accept no liability for errors arising from incorrect measurements or specifications supplied by the Customer
  • Amendments requested after manufacture has commenced may not be possible and may incur additional charges

 

6. Delivery

  • Delivery timescales are estimates unless expressly confirmed in writing
  • Delivery is to UK mainland addresses unless agreed otherwise
  • A responsible person must be available to accept delivery
  • Safe, clear, and suitable access must be provided for delivery vehicles

Offloading and Delivery Assistance

Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, deliveries are made on a kerbside / roadside basis only.

The Customer is responsible for ensuring that sufficient competent persons are available to safely offload the Products at the time of delivery. Delivery drivers are not obliged to assist with offloading; however, they may do so at their discretion where it is safe and practical.

If suitable assistance, access, or site conditions are not available upon delivery, we reserve the right to abort or rearrange the delivery. Any additional costs incurred as a result of failed, delayed, or rearranged deliveries (including redelivery charges) shall be payable by the Customer.

 

7. Ownership and Risk

  • Title to the Products remains with SLIDE & FOLD ALUMINIUM LIMITED until payment has been received in full
  • Risk in the Products passes to the Customer upon delivery or collection

 

8. Warranties

  • Products are supplied with a manufacturer’s warranty where applicable
  • Warranty terms vary by product and installation environment
  • Full warranty details are supplied separately and must be read in conjunction with any Operational & Maintenance guidance
  • Warranties do not cover installation workmanship unless expressly agreed in writing

 

9. Inspection and Claims

  • Any issues must be reported within a reasonable time of delivery
  • Claims may require supporting evidence, including photographs
  • Site inspections may be required and may be subject to a charge in accordance with the applicable warranty or claims procedure

 

10. Liability

  • Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any matter which cannot be excluded by law
  • Subject to the above, our liability is limited to the value of the Products supplied
  • We shall not be liable for:
    • indirect or consequential losses
    • loss of profit, business, or revenue
    • installation errors
    • damage occurring after delivery
    • events outside our reasonable control

 

11. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property, including designs, drawings, images, and website content, remains our property or that of our licensors and may not be reproduced without written consent.

 

12. Privacy and Data Protection

We process personal data in accordance with UK data protection legislation and our Privacy Policy.

 

13. Consumer Rights

These Terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

 

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The English Courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

 

15. Changes to These Terms

The version of these Terms in force at the time of Order acceptance shall apply. We reserve the right to update these Terms from time to time.
